I received both Ghibli Blu-ray’s today and I received Angel Beats! Blu-ray yesterday.

It looks like the numbers on the spine of the ghibli films has been changed again as my copy of Tales from Earthsea has number 15 instead of number 8.

I'll have to get Angel Beats and Earthsea sometime in the future, but for now nothing this week!

One notes that DVD release of Angel Beats requires of its viewers three more years of maturity than the Blu-ray. Only for us cultured antiquarians is MPEG-2 fit.

Interesting, my BD of Howl's Moving Castle arrived yesterday from HMV, but no sign of my Angel Beats BD pre-order from HMV being despatched yet - where did you order from?

My copies of Howl's Moving Castle & Tales From Earthsea are in the post from HMV. I already own the region A version of Angel Beats.

HMV haven't posted mine either :(

I cancelled my Angel Beats pre-order from Amazon and moved it to HMV, since it took nearly two weeks for Clannad to arrive from Amazon while HMV orders got out early. HMV orders probably haven't shipped because they changed the release date to the 30th for a while for some reason.
Looks like it's not the company but me that is the problem....

I forgot about the Ghibli BDs or I might have ordered them with that 10% code for HMV.

Looks like the cover art is out of date on the DVD from Play and both on Amazon. The prose on Amazon is the same, 15 for the DVD and 12 for the BD. The BVA still lists it as "TBC", as does HMV.

According to the BBFC the first half got a 12 and the second a PG.

I use UP a lot for my Manga, they seem to be more and more competitive on the UK prices too, thats £1 under my Amazon price, though with postage it'd be slightly more.

Luckily I'm not in a rush to watch so I can wait for Amazon, my order is flagged as dispatching soon.

I imported Angel Beats and wish I hadn't, as it's the usual contrived, calculated hyperdrama from Key (but I found a lot to like about Kanon so it wasn't a given that I'd hate it). It's all over the place in tone, as well.

Don't like Howl's Moving Castle enough to upgrade to Blu-ray, and I'm not I ever want to watch Earthsea.

Another positive post from your friendly neighbourhood miserable sod!
