A trailer for the TV amime adaptation of Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita reveals some of the misadventures anime fans have in store for them when it debuts.

Seven centuries have passed since mankind entered into decline and a new creature has started to dominate - "fairies". These 10 centimetre-tall creatures need to be dealt with and the human protagonist of the story is working for the UN as an arbitrator between fairies and humans. She returns to her hometown of Kusunoki where her grandfather still lives because she thinks it will be an easy job but the fairies might have other ideas.

The anime is based on Romeo Tanaka’s series of light novels which began life in May 2007. The series is directed by Seiji Kishi (Angel Beats!, Persona 4: The Animation) and it is animated by A.I.C.
