To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Macross, a Macross Musical is in production: Macross, The Musiculture. The story is set in the year 2062AD, and a colony has fallen into economic crisis with high unemployment rates. While an economic recovery plan is in the making, a Miss Macross contest takes place. Sounds very much like the "bread and circuses" policy we have been seen lately...
