Volume 7 of Snow White with the Red Hair offers our cast a chance to let their hair down and relax. Coupled with some character development for Shirayuki, it’s a solid entry, but does begin to retread old ground.
Snow White with the Red Hair Volume 6 successfully delivers an action-packed instalment. This volume offers us some exhilarating fight scenes, while also further demonstrating how Raj has managed to become a likeable character since his reintroduction.
Snow White with the Red Hair Volume 5 delivers an intriguing read. While the majority of the volume is building up to a much bigger arc, it’s still enjoyable and remains one of the most interesting shojo series being released right now.
The fourth volume of Snow White with the Red Hair does a good job of both moving the story along and fleshing out its main cast. Fans of Mitsuhide will appreciate the flashback chapter, while other readers will be happy to see Shirayuki and Zen growing closer.
The third volume of Snow White with the Red Hair brings with it some new challenges for the cast and reintroduces Raji into the mix - a character many of us grew fond of, thanks to the anime.
Overall the second volume of Snow White with the Red Hair shifts the focus away from romance and onto the growing cast of characters. This move delivers some excellent character development which will no doubt increase our enjoyment of the series going forward.
Snow White with the Red Hair is off to a fine start. With a relaxed story, strong female lead and likeable set of characters the series has a promising future. Fans of the anime won’t be disappointed and newcomers are certainly going to be coming back for more.

Having finished Snow White with the Red Hair, I still think it’s a very good shojo series. It doesn’t go out of its way to change what we’ve come to expect from shojo, but instead works to be one of the best shows in the genre.
