Sky Blue set for UK release • Anime UK News

According to various reports appearing on UK anime websites, Tartan (who are famous amongst UK Asian film fans for their ‘Asia Extreme’ label) have picked up the UK distribution rights for the acclaimed animated science-fiction movie Sky Blue (aka Wonderful Days).

This Korean animated movie (which is heavily influenced by anime) is currently in the running for a 2005 ‘Best animated feature’ Oscar nomination along with Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence. The UK release date has been set for the 24th of June. Watch the trailer.
