UK release for Appleseed • Anime UK News

According to UK-Anime.net, Optimum have acquired the eagerly anticipated CG-anime Appleseed for a UK release. No specific release dates have been revealed as yet, though a limited (one week) theatrical run is expected shortly before the DVD release.

Optimum have been behind many UK anime releases in recent times, including Spirited Away, Grave of the Fireflies and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. This Appleseed news comes hot on the heels of their Howl’s Moving Castle announcement back in late November.
