As expected, many of last week’s top ranking new releases have fallen out of the Play.com “best selling anime” top 40 and so this week we’re only able to compile a top 7 list of anime DVDs released in the last month.

• 7. Cowboy Bebop #2 (Beez)

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex #2 continues to dominate at the top and prove its sizable cult status in the UK, while Rahxephon – The Motion Picture and Azumanga Daioh #4 continue to sell well. This week’s new release, Trigun #1, debuts impressively at number 5. Somewhat surprisingly, Evangelion Platinum has dropped out of the top 7 after only one week since its UK release.
