WB snap up new Gonzo film

According to reports on the Anime News Service, Warner Bros. have snapped up the worldwide distribution rights to the upcoming Gonzo anime movie Brave Story. The Japanese theatrical release is tentatively scheduled for this coming summer season, but no US or European dates have been set as yet.

Brave Story is based on the original novel by Miyuki Miyabe, a best seller in Japan. Gonzo plans to animate the film incorporating the latest digital techniques.
