A good month for Ghibli in the UK

Anime UK News forum regular Kupoartist has noticed that Studio Ghibli’s Grave of the Fireflies recently won a UK film award! More specifically, the movie won a “Tiger” for “Best Animation” at the newly formed Tiger Awards – a ceremony designed to recognise the best Asian films of recent times. Also, Studio Ghibli’s “The Cat Returns” is set for a UK theatrical release on the 27th of May. Be sure to check your local art house cinema for screen times.
