Concluding May, beginning June

Another month passed and another telling 4 weeks full of fun news, new UK DVD announcements and even theatrical releases. Our biggest news stories of the month included “Manga Ent. UK dominate London MCM” (with their acquisition of Ghost in the Shell: Innocence and subsequent plans for an English dub), “MVM August to November UK releases” and “Dragonball Z movies on Toonami UK“. With regards to May DVD releases, MVM’s release of the hotly anticipated “Full Metal Alchemist #1” was especially welcomed by UK fans.

June is already looking like a solid month with some 25+ anime DVDs set to hit UK shop shelves over the next 4 weeks. Highlights including Beez’s Gundam SEED #1 and their concluding sixth volume of Cowboy Bebop.
