Screenwriter for live action Monster movie revealed

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that the upcoming live action adaptation of Naoki Urasawa’s manga Monster will have the screenplay written by Josh Olson (who worked on the upcoming A History Of Violence movie). David Cronenberg shall also be involved as screenwriter for the movie. Olson is said to be also drafting plans for a possible sequel.

The popular mystery/horror manga has also been adapted into an anime series.
