Anime films available to download legally?

According to Animetion on the 3rd August The Times newspaper reported that the British Internet Broadcasting company (BiBc), is currently discussing with Optimum Releasing, the possibility of legal film downloads to your PC. This would be the first ever way of downloading mainstream films to your PC for half the cost of a DvD.

Its worth baring in mind that Optimum Releasing’s “Optimum Asia” label has several anime films in its library such as Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust and more recently BareFoot Gen. So we could see anime films available for download eventually.

It is however unlikely this service will begin for at least 6 months.
