Optimum to release Kiki’s Delivery Service?

While there has been no official information released as of yet, Animetion has spotted that fantasy adventure KiKi’s Delivery Service is to be shown at the National Film Theatre courtesy of Optimum. KiKi’s Delivery Service had previously been released in the UK by Buena Vista Home Entertainment along with another Studio Ghibli title Laputa – Castle In The Sky. These two titles were all Buena Vista released however and have since become very hard to find. Seeing as Optimum now appears to have the rights to KiKi’s Delivery service at least, a re-release may hopefully be on the way.
