4Kids TV in the UK

Forum user Gawyn has keenly spotted that 4Kids Entertainment have been granted a UK broadcasting license for “4Kids TV”. No details of what 4Kids TV shall contain are yet available, however 4Kids own the licenses to many anime which they edit to appeal to a younger audience. 4Kids catalouge of anime includes Yu-Gi-Oh and Shamen King which have already aired in the UK. However other 4Kids anime titles such as Mew Mew Power (a.k.a Tokyo-Mew-Mew) have yet to reach these shores.

In the US, 4 Kids TV airs not just anime but also US animation series such as “Bratz”, “Turtles”, and “Winx Club”.
