British Film Institute publish 100 Anime by Philip Brophy

The British Film Institute have let us know about their latest publication- “100 Anime by Philip Brophy”; published on the 12th of December, this book has been designed to give anime fans new and old a concise insight into the famous and acclaimed works of Japanese animation.

  • “Individual entries on 100 key anime films, from Akira to Spirited Away by way of Blue Seed, Ghost in the Shell and Neon Genesis Evangelion, present plot synopses and discussion of the films’ sources and influences and major themes, as well as information about the sub genre or genres to which each films belongs, and selected credits.”
