ICv2 talk to Viz Media VP

ICv2 have recently posted an indepth 4-part interview with Viz Media VP Liza Coppola in which (amongst many other things) she talks about Viz’s perspective on (Naruto) anime fansubs and the company’s plans when it comes to serving the ever growing market of US shoujo fans.

• “We’ve had some really great discussions internally about that (Naruto fansubs). There isn’t an official stance yet, but the unofficial stance is that it’s great that the fans love the property, it’s great that they support it, and we need to figure out a way to work closely with them.”
