New season of Honey & Clover announced

It has been confirmed that a second season of “slice of life” drama Honey & Clover will be broadcast on Japanese TV this summer. The first series, which is still unlicenced outside of Japan, aired during 2005 to great acclaim and has since gone on to amass a sizable cult following amongst anime fans.

There is also a live action movie adaptation of Honey & Clover in the works, the soundtrack of which will be produced by none other than legendary anime music soundtrack artist Yoko Kanno (Cowboy Bebop, Macross Plus, Stand Alone Complex).
