Mainchi Daily News celebrate Neon Genesis Evangelion

2006 marks ten years since Hideki Anno’s sci-fi opus Neon Genesis Evangelion hit Japanese TV and caused a revolution within the anime industry. Celebrating the impact left by the show, the (Japan based online newspaper) Mainchi Daily News have published a series of articles looking at the phenomenon of the Evangelion franchise- from it’s humble beginnings in the mind of Anno to an interview with producer Toshimichi Otsuki; the main man who helped Anno take the idea and get it on TV.
