Stills of Katsuhiro Otomo's live action Mushishi movie • Anime UK News

French movie website CinEmpire.com have posted up 13 stills of Katsuhiro (Akira, Steamboy) Otomo’s upcoming live action movie Mushishi (Bug Master).

Yuki Urushibara’s acclaimed Mushishi manga (an odd mix of rural landscapes, supernatural bugs and human drama) has already spawned an award winning anime TV series (of same name, yet to be released outside of Japan, aired during 2005/06) and anticipation will be high that one of Japan’s most renowned directors in Otomo can maintain Mushishi’s standards with the live action movie.
