Tales of Earthsea DVD coming soon to the UK • Anime UK News

Optimum Releasing appear to be planning a subtitled-only UK DVD (release date TBA) of Studio Ghibli’s Tales of Earthsea (aka Gedo Senki), according to a new listing on Play.com.

Directed by Goro Miyazaki (son of the famous Hayao Miyazaki), the US release (and subsequent expensive English dubbing) of Tales of Earthsea will possibly be held up for years (until 2009) due to on-going legal wranglings.
