Winners of Tokoypop’s Rising Stars of Manga UK & Ireland

John Aggs (West Sussex) and his manga-style comic “Knives” has won Tokyopop’s second “Rising Stars of Manga U.K. & Ireland” competition. The winning entries are published in Tokyopop’s nationally distributed “Rising Stars of…” anthology, with the authors “offered a chance to submit a proposal to create a series of books, usually lasting three volumes”. Many of the winners are already published by Sweatdrop; one of the UK’s only “original manga studios”.
