Shaman King Manga to get new ending

The official website for the “Kang Zeng Bang” (Kanzen-Ban or Complete Edition) of Hiroyuki Takei’s Shaman King manga began posting the manga’s new finale for free on Friday. The supernatural action manga’s 287th installment, the “Good Morning, Mu Continent,” is the first 15-page chapter in the new “true” ending that Takei created specifically for the complete edition. (The manga’s original run abruptly ended in Japan’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2004.)

Volumes 25 and 26 of the complete edition will Ship in Japan on Wednesday, while the 27th and final volume should ship in early April. Viz Media will publish the 21st manga volume in North America on Tuesday.
