Lolita Fashion Show

Come and watch the different styles of a famous (and colourful) Japanese fashion called Lolita ranging from the darker more elegant Gothic Lolitas to the lighter and playful Sweet Lolitas. This fashion subculture was originally influenced by Victorian clothes as well as 18th century Rococo dresses. However it has evolved over the years and branched out to having many different sub genres. Lolita is very much popular in Japan, specifically in Harajuku a district in Tokyo where the streets are regularly adorned by beautifully dressed lolitas.

The fashion show will present ten different examples of styles in Lolita fashion: Sweet, Deco, Hime (Princess Lolita), Classic, Country, Gothic, Aristocrat, Kodona, Shiro and Guro.

Be prepared to be inspired by an assortment of elegant and playful ensembles, brought to you by the UK lolitas!
