J-Culture Con at Derby this Weekend

J-Con is the Derby’s annual convention for lovers of Japanese Culture, by lovers of Japanese Culture. J-Con offers a group of guests and helpers, including some of the best cult shops from around the country.

This year there will be a large array of Anime and Manga based events and games, traditional Japanese work shops as well as contemporary Japanese-based art and music!

Whether you are a seasoned Otaku or new to the culture of Japan, J-Culture Con welcomes you! We have a friendly, experienced team behind the event, working to create the best J-Con in the country. Why not come down and see for yourself? Last year over a thousand people turned up and left with smiles on their faces and bellies full of Pocky.

The 3rd Annual Anime Convention
will take place in Derby:

Convention Day September Saturday 25th, 2010
Cosplay Ball Day September Sunday 26th, 2010

There is no age limit on this convention, anyone under the age of 12 gets in free with a paying adult.
