Mysterious Cities of Gold Returns

At Last the sci-fi, historical adventure of the Mysterious Cities of Gold television series is finally returning. The original was shown on the BBC during the late 80s. The new anime adaption will be a 3 part series consisting of 26 episodes each. The new series will be made by Blue Spirit Animations that partners Television studio TF1, and by Movie Plus an international distributer and producer founded by the original co-script writer Jean Chalopin. However it is unknown whether there will be any Japanese involvement in this new adaption. The original in 1982 had Studio Pierrot assisting the animations.
