Go! London! Olympics Tribute
The 2012 Olympic Games open on the 27th of July and the entire world will get to see how Danny Boyle and his team of creatives represent the culture of the UK and London. We are already getting swamped with ads promoting credit cards and news promoting the glitz and glamour of the events and I suspect more than a few forumites are ignoring them but the animation site Catsuka has found a charming video celebrating the event that needs to be seen.
Independent animator Yatabe Touko and staff from independent studio Arplants have created this video as a tribute to the event. Arplants have used characters from a short anime they have created named “A Life with the Cat Whose Name is Ponta” which revolves around Ponta, a kitten, and Kenta, a school-boy. The two get into an adventure in a mysterious world when Ponta follows Kenta on his school trip. See their antics in the trailer below.
