Kotatsu Japanese Animation Festival 2012 in Cardiff Tomorrow

Anime fans in Wales have the opportunity to see Arrietty, Children Who Chase Lost Voices, Berserk Golden Age Arc 1: The Egg of the King and From Up On Poppy Hill on the big screen when they are shown at the Kotatsu Japanese Animation Festival at Chapter Arts in Cardiff on the 01st of December.

The times break down like this:

Arrietty: 11.00am -13.00am
Arrietty: 15.00pm
Children Who Chase Lost Voices: 15.30pm
Berserk Golden Age Arc 1: The Egg of the King: 18.00pm
From Up On Poppy Hill: 20.00pm

On top of the awesome anime movies, there will be a screening of a series of short films by Tsuneo Goda centering around Komaneko, a Curious Cat. These screening will be followed by a live Q&A session with the director Tsuneo Goda and stop-motion animatior Hirokazu Minegishi, via skype from Japan. There will also be the opportunity to buy Japanese food, art, games and do-jinshi. Futhermore Asuka Tanaka (Kodawari-Chaya: AKATSUKI) will hold a manga drawing workshop at 15:00 (booking required).
