Samuel L. Jackson to Star in Kite Live-action Adaptation

Samuel L. Jackson has revealed he will be a part of the David R. Ellis live-action adaptation of Yasuomi Umetsu’s anime OVA, Kite.

Samuel revealed his involvement in an interview with Movies.com. “After [RoboCop], I’m going to do this live-action version of Kite, the Japanese anime,” he said. “I’ll be doing a live-action version of that in Johannesburg.”

Work on the film was supposed to have started in September 2011, but there has been little news of progress, and there has been no release date revealed.
