Mad House’s Mai Mai Miracle Directed by Sunao Katabuchi is set in 1955 in a rural town in Japan, where a girl named Shinko meets Kiiko, a new transfer student from her school, on a magical adventure though her imagination.
Ninja Kids!!! is set in the early 16th century Japan, and revolves around 8-year-old ninja Rantaro, who is sent by his parents to attend the Ninja Academy.
