Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen Release and Theme Song Information
This console generation might be winding down but video gamers still have a lot of exciting releases ahead of them beginning with Capcom’s re-release of Dragon’s Dogma in the form of Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen on April 26th.
Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is described as “the next exciting chapter in the Dragon’s Dogma franchise delivering a huge brand new area, missions, enemies and more, plus all of the content from the original game.”
The game features all of the content from the original Dragon’s Dogma and something new as the story brings us to the cursed Bitterblack Isle which is the location of an underground realm filled with 25 new enemies. To battle the new enemies there are 14 new character augments and over 100 pieces of new equipment, a new tier of skills and abilities and new equipment. Sounds like bliss for RPG fans who love micro-managing their gear and characters.
Owners of the original Dragon’s Dogma will be able to export their existing characters and all other saved data. There will also be increased character customisation and the option to play the game with Japanese voice over.
The music heard in the PV is called ‘Coils of Light’ and is the theme song for Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. It is performed by a new Japanese singer/songwriter by the name of Raychell who releases her debut album L>R in Japan tomorrow.
The 12-track album “consists of a mixture of styles from rock to dance confirms that Raychell is a singer – songwriter of immense talent who is equally comfortable performing ballads as she is up-tempo songs.” Raychell may be new on the scene but her music is already spreading across the Japanese entertainment industry. Her song “Smiling” can be heard in the Tamagotchi anime series as it is the end theme. Her latest music can be heard in the sci-fi action film Travelers: Dimension Police, released two weeks ago with this awesome trailer which features Nao Nagasawa.
One of the songs on the soundtrack “Face Free” part of which can be heard here:
