Ladies and Gentlemen, the bugs are back. D3 Publisher are soon going to be releasing Earth Defense Force 2025 for the 360 and PS3 and have released this gameplay trailer showcasing some of the screen-slowing carnage to be expected!

The video shows the standard approaches to bug hunting including on foot, in tanks and battle armour and jetpacking around as Pale Wing but there’s also some new elements like the motorbike with sidecar.

The game is set for release in Japan in July. A US release is in the works but no mention has been made about Europe just yet. Perhaps chanting EDF loud enough will get someone in Japan to take notice!
