UK Otaku and NEO Magazine launch “Art-Off” competition

Do you want to be in with a chance of winning a year-long subscription of NEO Magazine? Do you also have that one thing most people in this fandom envy – artistic talent (or a lot of LEGO)? Well, the UK Otaku podcast and NEO Magazine have teamed up to let you use that skill, to win the great prize I mentioned earlier!

All you have to win is be creative and draw inspiration from the UK Otaku podcast to create a single page of a fictional “UK Otaku manga” – it can be a single illustration, a 4-koma strip or even photographs of LEGO showcasing the UK Otaku crew (I’m sure they won’t mind if that ranges from anything like K-ON! lazing around to Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo randomness). All you have to do is email your entry before 13th April 2014 to [email protected], tweet it to them at @ukotaku or send them it as a message on their Facebook page. The winner will then be announced on their podcast that will be released on 14th April. All entrants need to include their name, age, address and a link to a page or pfofile to be used for “Author Information”.

Terms and Conditions: Only people with a UK address may enter as NEO Magazine will not be shipped outside of UK. You may submit multiple entries but only one per person will be entered into the competition. Entries will be judged by UK OTAKU crew members and will be selected by a democratic process based on our subjective opinions of the entered images on or around 13/04/14. UK OTAKU crew members are not eligible to enter. Images submitted will be used by UK OTAKU or NEO magazine in printed or online media as they see fit but full credit will be given to the author at all times.
