Japan Foundation Touring Film Programme 2015 Announcement

The Japan Foundation released their line-up of films for next years touring film festival which will visit various venues across the UK from January 30th to March  26th. The 12th festival goes under the title “It Only Happens in the Movies?” and there is a wide variety of titles from different genres and decades and there are two anime titles in the mix.

The anime are A Letter to Momo and Short Peace.

The Japan Foundation has listed the following 11 venues as hosts for the festival:

– ICA, London
– Watershed, Bristol
– Queen’s Film Theatre (QFT), Belfast
– QUAD, Derby
– mac birmingham, Birmingham
– Dundee Contemporary Arts (DCA), Dundee
– Filmhouse, Edinburgh
– Showroom Cinema, Sheffield
– Tyneside Cinema, Newcastle upon Tyne
– Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal, Cumbria
– Broadway Cinema, Nottingham

So far, no dates or times for film screenings at individual locations have been announced yet but organisers promise that information will be posted on the festival website in the near future. Stay turned to Anime UK News for a full feature examining the films that can be seen!
