Teaser for All Esper Dayo! Live-Action Movie
Kiminori Wakasugi’s manga Minna! Esper Dayo! (All Esper Dayo!) has a movie in the works which is due for release on September 04th. To whet the collective appetite of the manga’s fans, a teaser has been released.
Synopsis
Yoshiro “Yocchan” Kamogawa (Shota Sometani) is an ordinary high school boy who is suddenly blessed wth the ability to read other people’s minds. With this incredible power he could become the most powerful person in the world but he uses it for trivial things. He’s not alone in gaining powers as a café worker named Teru-oichan (Makita Sports) gains telekinetic powers which he uses for sex toys and Yosuke Enomoto (Motoi Fukami), a fellow school-pupil of Kamogawa and a basketball player gains the ability to teleport but it only works while he is naked. Get ready to see how they use their powers!
The film is called Eiga Minna! Espa Dayo! and is directed by Sion Sono (Suicide Club, Tokyo Tribe, Love Exposure), the chap who originally helmed the live-action dorama version of the story and he is by the cast from the show with Shota Sometani (Himizu, Parasyte) taking the lead role of Yoshiro Kamogawa once again. Other returning cast members include Makita Sports (The Drudgery Train, Love & Peace) and Erina Mano (Shinjuku Swan).
