Pokémon the Movie: Everyone’s Story Titled, New Trailer Debuts

Two months after the unveiling of a brand new Pokémon theatrical anime feature film, a brand new trailer was broadcast on the Japanese variety show this morning, confirming the film’s title as Pokémon the Movie: Everyone’s Story.

Seemingly taking place in the same universe as last year’s smash-hit success Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You (on DVD now courtesy of Manga UK), the brand new film will be animated as a co-production between franchise regulars OLM Inc, alongside WIT Studio of Attack On Titan fame. Tetsu Yajima (Pokémon The Series: XY) is directing the new film, with script by Eiji Umehara (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-) and Aya Takaha (The Ancient Magus’ Bride). Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You director Kunihiko Yuyama will be assisting the film as Animation Supervisor, with Character Designs by Shizue Kaneko (Pan de Peace!).

Pokémon the Movie: Everyone’s Story will be released theatrically in Japan on 13 July 2018. An international release has yet to be announced.
