Yes, the Punch Line Cheermancy Edition Does Contain A Pigeon Mask
When video games targeted at more niche audiences are released, it’s not uncommon for them to receive a Collector’s Edition full of goodies for hardcore fans to enjoy. Typically, the contents of such releases range from soundtrack CDs and art books, but more rarely, pigeon masks. Yes, that’s right – pigeon masks.
In reference to the “Cheermancy” seen in 2015’s action comedy anime Punch Line, which sees characters perform a dance while donning a pigeon head mask, the absolute madmen at pQube Games have only decided to include a replica in their aptly named “Cheermancy Edition” of the PlayStation 4/Vita video game, which releases in Europe and North America this Summer.
Priced at £79.99, the Rice Digital exclusive will include:
- A copy of the game on either PlayStation 4 or PlayStation Vita
- 128-page artbook
- Official Soundtrack
- Japanese logo keychain
- Replica of Chiranosuke’s cat collar
- The full-sized rubber Pigeon Mask that will no doubt grant you sexual powers, or something…
Both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions are currently available for pre-order. If looking like a bird brain isn’t your thing however, the Standard Edition is also available from a variety of retailers.
