Anime Limited Details 12 Days of Christmas 2020 Sale with 11 New Announcements: Cyber City Oedo 808, Full Metal Panic!, Millennium Actress 4K, Planetes & More

UK distributor Anime Limited revealed a whole bunch of exciting news during their very first video showcase where each of the members go into detail what they have in store for this holiday season.

For starters, the 12 Days of Christmas sale will once again start on 1st December and wrapping up on 12th December. The traditional Mystery Box package will also return with 5 collector’s edition Blu-ray titles bundled together for the price of £44.99, however unlike previous years it will be available on the first day of the sale, rather than the last.

In addition, they have revealed not one but 11 new home video product announcements. These announcements include re-releases in special packaging as well as titles coming to Blu-ray. Release dates were not announced, but they will be available to pre-order (or order if they stated they’re in stock) during the sale in early bird style pricing (i.e. a £59.99 SRP set would be on sale for £34.99), with one title on offer per day.

We know a number of users around the world are excited about the new announcements, however, we would like to remind folks that these Blu-rays are set to Region B only (which covers UK, Europe & Australia regions).

We’re going to detail the news in order of appearance!

The first announcement is Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory collector’s edition Blu-ray. This package will contain all 12 episodes in English & Japanese audio with English subtitles across two Blu-ray discs, plus an additional Blu-ray disc dedicated to on-disc bonus features. All housed inside an Amaray case and a rigid box.

Alongside the 180-page artbook is a special bonus Audio Drama Blu-ray disc. Using visuals on-screen with English subtitles to make it feel like you’re watching an anime, the disc will feature both the “What if?” stories that were also featured in the out-of-print Funimation release and most importantly the “Very Merry Christmas” novel adaptation story which is crucial to understand the context between the events of The Second Raid and Invisible Victory.

“Invisible Victory finds Sagara Sousuke and his colleagues at “Mithril” under fierce attack at their bases around the globe from a rival organisation known as “Amalgam”. While Sousuke and Kaname face new tests thanks to a dangerous threat on their home turf in Japan, Merida Island and Mithril’s flagship submarine, the Tuatha de Danaan, both come under fierce and concerted attack themselves.”
