Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train Coming to UK Cinemas in 2021
Distributors Manga Entertainment, Funimation and Aniplex have announced plans to release the 2020 Japanese box office hit film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train (Gekijou-ban “Kimetsu no Yaiba” Mugen Ressha-hen) for the United Kingdom and Ireland. The plans are to provide a theatrical release sometime in 2021 with subtitled and dubbed options.
Released theatrically in Japan on October 2020, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train takes place after the events of the 2019 anime series and adapts the Mugen Train story arc from Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga. Like the anime series, the film is adapted by studio Ufotable with director Haruo Sotozaki and music composers Gō Shiina and Yuki Kajiura.
Aniplex of America have the rights and plan to release the film with Funimation Films for the United States and Canada in 2021 as well.

Anime Limited have the rights to the 2019 anime series and recently released the first half as a collector’s edition Blu-ray. The series is streaming on Crunchyroll, Funimation and will soon be available on Netflix. The original manga source material is available to read from book publisher Viz Media in English.
