Dragon Ball Symphonic Adventure UK Concert Cancelled

The Dragon Ball Symphonic Adventure orchestra concert has been cancelled due to “unexpected scheduling issues”, according to emails sent to customers that have been seen and verified by Anime UK News. The concert is now listed as cancelled on the Gigs and Tours website listing for the event. Customers who have purchased tickets are being informed that they will receive refunds for their tickets, which ranged from £41 to £267.50, via their original payment method.

The message sent to customers by Gigs and Tours reads:

The UK leg of the Dragon Ball Symphonic Adventure tour has been impacted by unexpected scheduling issues. Due to this, the 7th August 2022 performance at the OVO Wembley Arena has been cancelled. Ticket refunds will be automatically processed to each purchaser’s original payment method. Thank you for your understanding and apologies for any inconvenience caused.

The concert was originally scheduled to take place at the OVO Arena Wembley in London on 7th August 2022 and would have featured songs from Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, with live vocals by Hiroki Takahashi, the singer of Dragon Ball‘s very first opening theme “”Makafushigi Adventure!”.

The event was set to be the first UK concert in a tour that has previously played in France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal and Taiwan. A North American event was also announced for 2020, but was cancelled due to the coronovirus pandemic.
