Anime Nation shelved by RaptureTV

With the project being dormant since the summer anyway, RaptureTV finally appear to have shelved whatever plans they had for their magazine-style TV show “Anime Nation” by closing down the sub-site and sub-forum related to the programme. When this clip appeared on YouTube (complete with a semi-animated host and interview with English voice actor Monica Rial), hopes were high that Anime Nation was close to launching, but ultimately it has proved not to be.
Since their re-launch on Sky Digital in late 2005, RaptureTV have (almost single handedly at times) supported anime on UK TV by airing Wolf’s Rain, Fullmetal Alchemist, Mezzo DSA and (currently) Excel Saga.
