Anime Limited acquires Samurai Flamenco
If you didn’t have the healing powers of Wolverine or the resources of Iron Man, could you still become a superhero? Samurai Flamenco, a television anime by Manglobe (The World God Only Knows, Deadman Wonderland) and directed by Takahiro Omori (Baccano!, Durarara!!), answers that with Masayoshi Hazama, a 19 year old male model without super powers of resources who decides to fight crime under the name Samurai Flamenco. And what will happen when 24-year old police officer Hidenori Goto finds our your secret identity? A series of events that will help these two discover what it truly means to be a hero of justice of course!
Today, Anime Limited confirmed that they have obtained the rights to release the two-cour comedy-drama anime in the United Kingdom. A release date and format has yet to be confirmed, but will likely be announced in early 2014.
