Anime On Demand closes down, is replaced by Animax UK

Today, the anime streaming website Anime On Demand have officially announced their closure after months of inactive service. The streaming website, which was operated by Viz Media Europe was responsible for the simulcasts of numerous hit anime titles in the United Kingdom, such as MagiSteins;Gate and Tiger & Bunny.

The service has been officially replaced with Animax UK, a new streaming website run by Viz Media Europe and Sony, which offers hundreds of hours of existing television series’ like Death Note and Bleach, movies like Mardock Scramble and new simulcasts of shows like Beyond the Boundary and Coppelion!
