<

Today is the day before Christmas and UK anime distributor has decided to give us loyal fans an early Christmas present with their latest podcast, where they announced three new titles that will be coming to the UK market next year!

The first of which is the ecchi fantasy series HighSchool DxD which centres on Issei Hyodo, a “normal” human (“normal” in that he is a raging pervert). When Issei is attacked and left for dead by a fallen angel. The next morning, he wakes up to find third-year student Rias Gremory lying naked in bed, who reveals herself as the devil who saved his life, so as such, she is his new master. A second season of the original 2012 anime aired this past summer. MangaUK will be releasing HighSchool DxD on both DVD and Blu-ray in 2014.

The second new license is the comedic The Devil Is A Part-Timer, which aired in Japan back in Spring. When the Demon Lord and one of his generals escape the Demon World and enters modern day Tokyo, they end up taking human forms and in order to survive, the Demon Lord takes up a part-time job at a fast food restaurant but things get more complicated when the Demon Lord meets a girl, who turns out to be the hero he left the Demon World to escape! The series will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray next year.

The third and final announcement is the romantic comedy/action harem series Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero which was originally aired in Japan in summer 2012. Following an international training organisation called Babel which protects young people returning from another world. Akatsuki, a wayward hero, returns from a world of swords and magic called Alayzard with the daughter of the last Dark Lord, Myuu. No release date or format have been confirmed yet.
