ufotable’s new Fate/stay night anime to premiere in Autumn

Last July, it was revealed that ufotable is working on a brand new project based on Type-Moon’s visual novel Fate/stay night was announced by Hikaru Kondo, the founder of animation studio ufotable. The ninth volume of Kadokawa’s Type-Moon Ace magazine has revealed some information on this new project.

The new series will be the first full directoral run of Takahiro Miura, whose previous work includes episodes 15 and 19 of Fate/Zero and episode 6 of The Garden of Sinners. Fate/Zero‘s character designers Atsushi Ikariya and Tomonori Sudou will be joined by Hisayuki Tabata (Yuyushiki) in adapting Takashi Takeuchi’s original character designs.

Studio DEEN’s previous Fate/stay night anime was released in the United Kingdom by MVM Entertainment, while the Fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works movie was released by Manga Entertainment UK. MVM Entertainment have also licensed the Fate/Zero anime.
