Fist of the North Star’s Hokuto ga Gotoku PS4 demo now available on Japanese PSN
SEGA and the developers behind the Ryū ga Gotoku (Like a Dragon/Yakuza) franchise have released a demo for their video game based on the Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star) franchise called Hokuto ga Gotoku on the Japanese PlayStation store for PlayStation 4 owners.
You can view the demo page from the Japanese PlayStation store here. The demo will require 7.648GB of space.
Hokuto ga Gotoku takes the Fist of the North Star franchise and merges it with Yakuza’s gameplay and engine to deliver an all-new original story starring Kenshiro. Takaya Kuroda, known for voicing Kazuma Kiryu for the Yakuza franchise, takes on the voicing role for Kenshiro in this game.
Both the demo and the main game will be import friendly in terms of gameplay while the story, dialogue and text will require knowledge of the Japanese language. Localisation announcements haven’t been mentioned yet but hopefully it does happen given it’s the 35th anniversary of the franchise with previous titles been localised in the past and the prequel spin-off anime series coming to Crunchyroll this April.
