Anime Limited reveals home video details for Masaaki Yuasa’s The Night is Short, Walk on Girl!
Distributor Anime Limited have announced new information for their upcoming home video release for Masaaki Yuasa’s The Night is Short, Walk on Girl!
Home Video Details:
Just like any other Anime Limited release there will be a collector’s edition Blu-ray & DVD combo pack for the film. Here are the specs that we know about so far:
Suggested Retail Price: £34.99
Release Date: 25th June 2018
Audio: Japanese
Subtitles: English
Extras (On-Disc): Interview with director Masaaki Yuasa, Japanese Previews.
Extras (CE): Rigid box with digipack packaging, 52-page art book divided into three sections; Characters, Settings and an essay written by Andrew Osmond.
In addition to this, Shop AllTheAnime will also be offering a shop exclusive edition that offers a bonus A3-sized poster using artwork from the same one used as the outer digipack – the outdoor scene featuring many characters from the film! The poster will be shipped separately from the release.
Pre-orders for the shop exclusive collector’s edition will be available starting Friday 15th June 2018 on Shop AllTheAnime. You can also pre-order the sets now on Amazon UK (CE Combo – SE Blu-ray – SE DVD).
There will also be a standard edition Blu-ray and DVD available on the same day of release.

Plot Synopsis via AllTheAnime:
“Senpai” is a man smitten with his inscrutable junior, The Girl with Black Hair. Although he plans to woo her by engineering a series of “coincidental” encounters, he reckons without the exploratory nature of this girl as she roams through an abstract, bustling night in Kyoto. From pub crawls to festivals, book fairs to impromptu musical performances, the night is short and there’s much to take in – how can “Senpai” possibly grab the attention of the apple of his eye?
And that is all of the information revealed so far. This will be the first ever official English supported release of the film plus Anime Limited also have Lu Over the Wall coming very soon in early July this year!
