The Ancient Magus’ Bride Part 2 UK Release Date Announced, Plus a New Release Date for Black Clover Season 1 Part 2

Distributor Manga Entertainment has announced some release date adjustments for two of their titles heading to the United Kingdom & Ireland this second quarter of the year.

The first is that Black Clover Season 1 Part 2, covering episodes 11-19 of the first season, will now be available earlier than planned. The new release date is 20th May 2019 for both Blu-ray and DVD. The first part was initially released by Sony Pictures, but the rest of the series will now be handled under Manga Entertainment.

Plot Synopsis via Manga Entertainment:

Asta’s hard work is gaining him recognition from the Wizard King and he’s given a new task – investigate a magical dungeon! Together with Noelle and Luck, he’ll learn they weren’t the only ones sent to explore. Yuno and his Golden Dawn teammates are also after the secrets. But their race to the treasure takes a dangerous turn when they come up against mages from the Diamond Kingdom.

Then we have some special news – the release date for The Ancient Magus’ Bride Part 2 has been announced. The distributor will release this set, covering episodes 13-24, for 3rd June 2019 on both Blu-ray and DVD formats. The first part was recently released back in 1st April 2019.

Plot synopsis via Manga Entertainment:

Chise’s bond with Elias grows stronger by the day, while all around her, things take a turn for the worse. Not only are the fae and beings of lore meddling in her life, but her recovery time is increasing after each use of her power. All caution is thrown to the wind; however, when one of Lindel’s dragons is captured, and the rescue attempt puts Chise’s life in grave danger. Now, the only thing more horrifying than Joseph’s plan to use Chise, is Elias’ plan to save her.

In addition, here’s an updated cover art for the latest Dragon Ball Z movie collection, featuring Battle of Gods, Resurrection ‘F’, and Super: Broly. The collection is due for 27th May 2019 on both Blu-ray and DVD formats.
