Funimation to simulcast How heavy are the dumbbells you lift?, Fire Force, Hensuki and The Ones Within with English dubs
Distributor Funimation has announced their first wave of anime titles from the Summer 2019 season that they will be streaming over on their service Funimation Now.
These titles will all be available for the United Kingdom and Ireland. Audio options will vary between each title listed below.
Revealed months ago, Funimation will be streaming Fire Force (Enen no Shouboutai) in English audio. The series is based on Atsushi Ookubo’s 2015 manga of the same name and will be adapted by studio David Production.
The simuldub will premiere on Friday 5th July. The Japanese audio option is not listed, but this may imply that the series may be a leftover from the partnership with Crunchyroll.
Hensuki: Are you willing to fall in love with a pervert, as long as she’s a cutie? (Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka?) will be streaming in both English & Japanese audio with English subtitles. The series is based on Tomo Hanama’s 2017 light novel of the same name and will be adapted by studios Geek Toys and Seven.
The simulcast will premiere on Monday 8th July and the simuldub will premiere on Monday 22nd July.
How heavy are the dumbbells you lift? (Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru?) will be streaming in both English & Japanese audio with English subtitles. The series is based on Yabako Sandrovich’s 2016 manga of the same name and will be adapted by studio Doga Kobo.
The simulcast will premiere on Wednesday 3rd July and the simuldub will premiere on Wednesday 17th July.
The Ones Within (Nakanohito Genome [Jikkyouchuu]) will be streaming in both English & Japanese audio with English subtitles. The series is based on Osora’s 2014 manga of the same name and will be adapted by studio Silver Link.
Both the simulcast and the simuldub will premiere on Sunday 7th July.
Returning from the previous anime seasons on Funimation Now for the UK & Ireland are long-running shows Black Clover (simuldub) and Fairy Tail: Final Season (simulcast & dub), as well as Spring 2019 titles; MIX (simulcast & dub), and YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of This World (simulcast & dub).
