Funimation Reveals First Batch of Autumn 2019 Anime Simulcasts

As the Summer 2019 anime season is coming to a close, the Autumn 2019 anime season is now approaching within the next few weeks. Funimation has now begun to reveal what they have in store for the Autumn 2019 simulcast slate for their streaming service Funimation Now.

Some of these titles were mentioned earlier on but we will be recapping them here. The region specs will also be mentioned for those interested.

Fairy Gone Part 2

The original anime series returns for a second-half by P.A.Works. The anime will be available for territories United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and Ireland in both English and Japanese audio. The show is scheduled to simulcast on Sunday 6th October at 5:00pm BST (4:00pm GMT) with the simuldub scheduled for Sunday 20th October.

The first half, episodes 1-12, are available to stream on Funimation Now.

Fate/Grand Order: Absolute Demonic Front – Babylonia

(Fate/Grand Order: Zettai Majuu Sensen Babylonia)

Based on the highly popular mobile video game series by Type-Moon, the Babylonia story arc will be adapted by CloverWorks. The anime will be available for territories United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Ireland in Japanese audio. The show is scheduled for simulcast on Saturday 5th October at 5:00pm BST (4:00pm GMT).

Episode 0 is available to stream on Funimation Now alongside other Fate properties including Fate/Grand Order -First Order-, Fate/Stay Night [Unlimited Blade Works] and Fate/Zero.

Funimation Now (as well as AnimeLab and Wakamin) will stream the series with a 30-day exclusivity window before Crunchyroll and other sites can begin their simulcast. The series is licensed by Aniplex of America for streaming.

Kono Oto Tomare! Sounds of Life Season 2

Based on the manga series written by Amyuu Sakura, Platinum Vision returns to animate the second anime season for a total of 13 episodes. The anime will be available for territories United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and Ireland in both English and Japanese audio. The show is scheduled to simulcast on Saturday 5th October at 6:30pm BST (5:30pm GMT) with the simuldub scheduled for Saturday 19th October.

The first season, episodes 1-13, are available to stream on Funimation Now.

My Hero Academia Season 4

(Boku no Academia 4th Season)

Based on the shonen jump manga series written by Kouhei Horikoshi, Bones returns to animate the fourth anime season. The anime will be available for territories United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and Ireland in both English and Japanese audio. The show is scheduled to simulcast on Saturday 12th October at 10:30am BST (9:30am GMT) with the simuldub scheduled for the same day and time (until further notice).

Seasons 1, 2 and 3 are available to stream on Funimation Now.

Sword Art Online -Alicization-: War of Underworld

Based on the isekai light novel series written by Reki Kawahara, A-1 Pictures returns to animate the second half of the Alicization story arc for a total of 24 episodes. The anime will be available for territories United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Ireland in Japanese audio when it begins airing on Saturday 12th October.

The very first Sword Art Online season is available to stream on Funimation Now. The series is licensed by Aniplex of America for streaming.

We Never Learn: BOKUBEN Season 2

(Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai 2)

Based on the shonen jump manga series written by Taishi Tsutsui, Silver and Arvo Animation returns to animate the second anime season. The anime will be available for territories United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Ireland in Japanese audio. The show is scheduled for simulcast on Saturday 5th October at 6:00pm BST (5:00pm GMT).
