Robotics;Notes ELITE & DaSH Visual Novels Coming to Europe this October!
Distributors Numskull Games and Spike Chunsoft have announced plans to bring the visual novel games Robotics;Notes ELITE & Robotics;Notes DaSH to the European territories for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch platforms.
Numskull Games will be offering both visual novels as a double pack collection and they will be available to purchase in both physical and digital format starting 16th October 2020. A Day One Edition will also be available that includes a set of 4 pin badges. Spike Chunsoft will also be doing the same for fans in the United States and Canada.
Plot Synopsis for Robotics;Notes ELITE (Numskull Games):
“Play as Kaito Yashio, one of the last two members of Central Tanegashima High’s Robot Research Club. He kicks back and relaxes as his counterpart, the reckless club leader Akiho Senomiya, strives to complete their giant robot in order to keep the club from being disbanded. But Kaito’s days of relaxation end with the discovery of the mysterious Kimijima Report. It contains instructions involving locations all across the island – and warns of a conspiracy targeting the entire world.”
Robotics;Notes ELITE is an updated version of the game that takes place after the events of Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate in the Science Adventure series developed by 5pb. It was released in Japan in 2012 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 before being updated in 2014 for PlayStation Vita with the ELITE subtitle. The sequel Robotics;Notes DaSH was released in 2019 by developers 5pb. and Chiyomaru Studio (formerly MAGES), and takes place after the previous game. DaSH is also the sixth instalment after Chaos;Child and Steins;Gate 0.
Numskull Games have published a couple of Japanese games for Europe including visual novels AI: The Somnium Files, Steins;Gate Elite and YU-NO, as well as other titles like Conception Plus, CRYSTAR and Zanki Zero. All of these titles mentioned were on behalf of Spike Chunsoft whom have released them in the United States and Canada. UK publisher PQube have released Chaos;Child, Steins;Gate, and Steins;Gate 0 for Europe and the United States.
Robotics;Notes ELITE also received an anime adaptation by studio Production I.G in 2012 and was licensed and distributed in the US and Canada by Funimation and UK and Ireland by Manga Entertainment on Blu-ray and DVD. The anime is available to stream in English and Japanese audio with English subtitles on Funimation Now.
